The latest data on the NFT marketplace OpenSea revealed that MoonPay acquired 180 ETH (approximately $564k) ten days ago, then transferred to the singer’s wallet on March 23rd.
As many high-profile artists increasingly tapping the NFT and metaverse world, many fans on Madonna’ Instagram post are not happy with some called it a disappointing move, while a few asked the singer to delete the post.
The pop star’s tryst with the cryptocurrency industry dates back to 2018 when she partnered with Brad Garlinghouse-led blockchain company Ripple to raise funds for orphans in Miami.
