Saudi Arabia collaborate with The Sandbox for future metaverse plans
The Sandbox entered into an MOU with the government of Saudi Arabia for future metaverse development.

The Middle East continues to place significant emphasis and interest in the development of metaverse initiatives, as evidenced by the recent Leap conference held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, which spotlighted important issues in the field.
On February 7th, a partnership ceremony took place at the Leap conference, which marked the signing of a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between The Sandbox and the government of Saudi Arabia.
According to Sebastien Borget social media post, the co-founder and chief operating officer of Sandbox the MOU is with the Saudi Arabia Digital Government Authority (DGA) for the purpose of exploring advising, and supporting one another in metaverse development.

The Saudi Arabia-based conference comes as the Middle East continues to establish the region as a hub for emerging technologies. Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates was chosen as the location for the newly formed Middle East, Asia, and Africa blockchain association.
Both partners look forward to exploring, advising, and supporting mutually each other in the activation of the Metaverse.
