The UAE's Etihad Airways to inaugurate its initial exhibition of NFT token 3D airplane models by 21 July to benefit its sustainability and decarbonization actions.
The airline's "FY-ZERO1" collection will encompass ten airplane models, captioning private B787 Dreamliner and Manchester City FC insignias.
"We are fascinated to inaugurate our inital NFT exhibition, EY-ZERO1, which does not request collectors, flight fans and travellers a different piece of art but a real world trips and lifestyle advantages with Etihad Airways" Etihad Aviation Group CEO, Tony Douglas declared emphasizing that NFTs and other metaverse technologies are revising the digital economy.

NFT collectors will be given a silver tier membership in the Etihad Guest loyalty program for a year, and gain entry to coming NFT exhibitions and future metaverse properties schemed as a piece of the airline's Web3 strategy.
Etihad Airways will cooperate with Aerial to follow the carbon emission of the NFTs put to be minted on the energy-sufficient Polygon blockchain also expected recoveries will be utilized to buy sustainable aviation fuel over the coming time as a piece of the airline's technique to improve its durability and decarbonization actions.
